Acar also known as “Achar” in Hindi or pickle in English. The origin of this food may come from India. In Malaysia, Acar can also be taken as a starter or to be eaten together with white rice or flavoured rice like Nasi Beriani. A perfectly cooked acar buah can stand for few months.
